[en] Lead Assigned Date
[en] When a new lead is created in Salesforce, it may sit dormant for a while before it's ready to be assigned to a rep to be worked. The time at which it's assigned and ready to be worked is called the Assigned Date.

[en] Contact Assigned Date
[en] When working a new lead in Salesforce that looks promising, you convert them into a contact, opportunity, and account in hopes that you have a new deal on your hands.
[en] However, sometimes the opportunity goes nowhere. Perhaps they don't have budget right now, or they're just not ready to buy. It's time to mark the opportunity as closed lost and place the contact into a nurture campaign.
[en] The contact may sit in the nurture campaign for awhile, until at some point down the road it's ready to be worked by a rep again. This is the contact's Assigned Date.
