[en] Created Win Rate uses the Opportunity Created Date to form cohorts.
[en] Conversion by Created Date is a great way to determine if your new leads are converting at a better rate, or if there are new challenges appearing at specific stages in your funnel.
[en] Created Win Rate takes the number of opportunities won and divides it by the total number of opportunities created in a period – won, lost, or open.
[en] Example
[en] 100 deals were created in January.
[en] 3 are closed won.
[en] 7 are closed lost.
[en] 90 are still open.
[en] 3/100 = 3% win rate.
[en] When looking at full funnel conversion rates by Created Date, you'll typically see a number lower than your Close Rate – that’s because it includes open opportunities. Recent months will usually have a lower win rate that increases over time, as your full sales cycle hasn't completed yet. You can use the Sales Cycle Length report to identify how much time should pass before you get concerned.
