[en] Opportunity Age Health

[en] Your funnel is made up of the stages that an opportunity must go through on its way to being closed won. The speed at which an opportunity moves through each stage is known as the velocity.

[en] FunnelCake measures the age health of open opportunities by comparing how long they've spent in each stage of your funnel with the stage velocities of similar opportunities that have already been closed won.

[en] What defines a similar opportunity? By default, an open opportunity's age in stage is compared against the stage velocity of closed won opportunities of the same opp type from the last 90 days.

注記

[en] Your organization can pick an additional trait to compare against as well if further segmentation is needed. For example:

[en] Your business sells "Product X". This product has very different sales cycles depending on the number of users that will be using Product X at the company you are selling to. If there's 0-10 users, things are typically won in 45 days. If there are 10-50 users, it takes closer to 4 months.

[en] In FunnelCake, you would want to measure the age health of open opportunities against close won opportunities of similar opp type and number of user licensees.
