Scheduler, SMTP, and Sales Portal

In this section, you'll do these tasks:

  1. Install and configure the Scheduler service. You should also set up Scheduler to run as a Windows service.

  2. Configure SMTP settings. This allows emails to be sent to users for things like self-serve password resets.

  3. Install the Sales Portal application. If installing the Classic version of Sales Portal, you'll deploy on Apache Tomcat. If installing the newest version of Sales Portal, you'll deploy on an Apache HTTP server.
