Taking action on an inquiry from within an email
With Fabric email, you have the convenience of taking action on an inquiry from within an email. With the admin or payee's email connected to a designated swimlane, an email will be sent when an inquiry has been submitted. This feature makes it easy and quick to see the inquiry details and take action on an inquiry without having to go into the workflow.
Important
Email can only be sent when the workflow token arrives at an Action node. Make sure to enable the Send email notification toggle in the action node configuration wizard.
From the navigation bar, click on
Reports.
Click on a report that you wish to create an inquiry for.
From the top panel, click on the more options (
) icon.
Click Create Inquiry.
Enter a Subject and Message for the inquiry.
Choose a Category.
Choose whether to include a copy of the report.
Note
The copy of the report will be included by default if you have enabled the Send email notification toggle in your action node.
Click Upload file if you wish to upload any additional documents or images.
Click Submit.
Once the inquiry is submitted, an email will be sent.
On the email, select the action that will be taken. The action can only be submitted once per email.
In Sales Portal, under Notifications, you can see a summary of the action that has been taken.
