Running schedules
In Varicent Incentives, you can run schedules automatically by setting a run frequency, or you can run them manually. Running a schedule runs all tasks in the schedule. Tasks run sequentially, with the exception of imports in the same folder, which can run in parallel.
Setting a run frequency for a schedule
Set a run frequency to automatically run all tasks within your schedule.
From the Scheduler module → All schedules pane, click the schedule that you want to set a run frequency for, or add a new schedule.
Click the More options menu (...) and click Edit.
Turn on the Add run toggle.
Choose how often the task runs. Your options are every hour, day, week, month, or year.
Select the time that you want the schedule to run. Your options vary depending on your selection from step 4. For example, if you select every hour, you need to choose which minute within that hour to run the schedule. If you select every year, you need to choose which month, day, and time to run the schedule.
Click Save.
Running a schedule manually
Manually run all tasks within your schedule as needed.
From the Scheduler module → All schedules pane, select the schedule that you want to run.
Click Run schedule.
On the confirmation dialog, click Run.
