Copying data from a report
You can quickly copy data from a Sales Portal report and paste it into another application for further analysis or sharing.
In Sales Portal, open the report.
Click to open a table or a reshaped table within the report.
Select the data you want to copy. You can click a single cell or click and drag to select multiple cells.
Press Ctrl + C on your keyboard to copy the data.
Open your target application. For example, Microsoft Excel, Word, or another data tool.
Press Ctrl + V on your keyboard to paste the data into the open application.
Note
When pasting data into Excel, the data aligns with column headers but may not retain advanced formatting such as currency symbols, dates, or icons due to external app limitations.
In Word or Notepad, unformatted data is presented with tab spacing, treating the entire value, including currency symbols, as plain text.
