Sales Portal
Customize your Message Center experience
We’re thrilled to introduce a new level of customization to your Sales Portal Message Center. You now have the flexibility to hide modules that aren't in use, tailoring the Message Center to better fit your needs. Whether you want to turn off the entire Message Center or just specific parts, the choice is yours. This feature empowers you to streamline your interface, focusing only on the modules that matter most to you.
When you disable a module, it will no longer be visible in the Message Center, but rest assured, this does not affect the functionality of the underlying features. For instance, workflows will continue to operate seamlessly even if the Workflows module is hidden. This ensures that your operations remain uninterrupted while you enjoy a cleaner, more personalized interface.
Additionally, if you or your team attempt to access a disabled module or the Message Center via direct links, you’ll be smoothly redirected with a helpful toast message. This ensures clarity and prevents any confusion, enhancing your overall user experience.
It’s still here, but it’s different.
Admin
Stay ahead with license usage alerts
We are excited to announce an update to the license usage monitoring feature in Tenant settings. This improvement provides admins with timely alerts as they approach their license limits, helping them manage licenses proactively and prevent additional charges.
The main goal of this update is to ensure that all admins, regardless of their specific permissions, receive important notifications about their license usage. Admins will see notification banners when their usage reaches key levels - 85%, 95%, and when they exceed the limit for the three main categories: admin licenses, import record usage, and payee licenses. If you try to add an admin user and you're close to your subscription limit, you'll see a callout in the admin panel indicating how many slots you have left.
Once you reach a specific threshold, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Varicent Support to purchase additional licenses. If you're concerned about exceeding your limit, consider purchasing more licenses beforehand to prevent extra charges.
Admins can easily confirm they've seen the notification banners, showing they understand current usage, and take any needed steps. To keep an accurate record of actions, each acknowledgment of a license usage notification will be logged in the Activity tab on the Admin user's page within Tenant settings. For ongoing monitoring, notifications will reappear based on set intervals: every 90 days for payee and admin usage, and every 7 days for import record usage, as long as usage exceeds thresholds.
Reports
Include calculated columns in downloaded files
We’re excited to announce an enhancement that makes your data exports even more comprehensive. Now, when you download a table from a Presenter Adaptive report, calculated columns are included in the export. This means you’ll see the values as they appear in your table, without the underlying formulas, ensuring your data is both accurate and easy to interpret. The calculated columns respect the current order and visibility settings you’ve specified, so if you’ve hidden a column, it won’t appear in the download. Additionally, any formatting and styling applied to other columns are also applied to these calculated columns, maintaining a consistent look and feel across your exported data. This update is designed to make your data handling more efficient and user-friendly.
Enhanced PDF Exports for Reports
We've enhanced how you can export your reports into PDF. Select custom to choose the scaling percentage of the PDF export. By default, new reports will scale to 70 percent. You also now have the option to fill the column width to the table width. Here, columns within a table are resized so that they collectively span the entire width of the table, and no extra space is left unused.
With the expand all table row groups feature, all grouped rows in a table will be shown in their expanded state. With the compact view option, the table layout reduces the amount of space used, making the table denser and easier to scan. This is especially useful when displaying lots of data.
