Accessibility change log

More detailed information regarding accessibility updates can be found here:

  • Updated the input fields for editable cells from “Editable cell. Current cell value is {value}. Press Enter or click to edit the value.” to “Editable cell”.

  • Implemented the role="link" inside the <a> tag to indicate the role of elements in Sales Portal.

  • Unnecessary descriptions from decorative images in Sales Portal reports were removed, and the required alt attribute was updated to: alt="".

  • Added descriptive accessible names to buttons in Sales Portal reports to ensure screen readers are announcing the button name along with the expanded or collapsed state for users.

  • The controls "Items per page" and "Select page” have been updated to be coded as “combobox”.

  • Added the ability to enable an accessibility view for charts in Sales Portal reports. This feature allows users to toggle between the visual chart and a text-based data table representation for improved accessibility. When configuring a chart in Presenter Adaptive, in the Data tab, there is now an Accessibility section. Use the Enable table view toggle to turn this feature on and off for each chart as required.

  • Updated the Submit element in Sales Portal Profile section to announce its disabled state to screen readers using an aria-disabled attribute.

  • Heading tag was updated from h2 to h3 for the Notifications dropdown on Sales Portal.

  • Updated the focus order within the Notifications dropdown in Sales Portal for a more logical navigation flow for screen readers. When activating “View next 20” in the Notifications dropdown, the focus will now move to the first element among the new content.

  • In data tables within the Message Center of Sales Portal, screen readers will now announce each cell is announced individually as users navigate through the table using the keyboard. The data in each cell is announced in relation to the corresponding table header.
